Mental health crisis poses adviser headache.

In this month’s issue (June 2020) of Financial Standard publication, William Johns highlights the problems caused when insurers use ADLs (activities of daily living) definitions for mental illness or brain injury TPD claims.

He says he is still seeing clients who are unable to work and desperate for help have claims rejected under ADLs.
