Ethical financial advice where health and money meet
Health & Finance Integrated (HFI) was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves ethical financial advice, whatever their health, ability or circumstances.
Our vision, mission and values shape how we work with every client, from the first phone call through to the ongoing review of your plan.
Who we work with
Our clients come from all walks of life. Many choose HFI because they share our values and want ethical financial advice from a firm they can trust with their affairs.
- People living with disability or chronic illness
- People living with neurological or autoimmune conditions
- People receiving TPD or income protection benefits
- People medically retired from work
- Personal injury and compensation recipients
- NDIS participants and their families
- Parents planning for a child with disability
- Trustees of Special Disability Trusts
- Carers and families
- Young people and people in midlife
- Retirees
- Employees, managers and executives
Our vision
Accessible financial planning for all, bridging the gap between the financial and healthcare industries.
After illness, injury or disability, financial decisions often involve superannuation, insurance, Centrelink and care needs all at once. We bring that knowledge together, so you don’t have to work through each system on your own.
Accessibility has been part of HFI from the start. One of William Johns’ first purchases when he founded the business around 2014 was a wheelchair-accessible van, so clients who needed it could be supported.
Our mission
Choice and independence
We believe in building sustainable communities where people have the means to choose how they want to live. We use our financial expertise to find practical solutions to complex financial matters.
Giving back
As a social enterprise, we donate a significant portion of our net profit to community programs that increase people’s independence and support their dignity.
Sharing knowledge
We help health and finance professionals understand how health affects financial matters, so more people receive joined-up support when they need it.
The values behind our ethical financial advice
Our values describe the behaviour and attitude you can expect from every member of our team.
- Honesty
- We do what we say we will do, and we act in our clients’ best interests at all times.
- Respect
- We listen to and value each person’s goals, needs and life choices, and we treat everyone without judgement.
- Commitment
- We look for clear, individual solutions to the challenges you face, explained in plain English.
- Service
- We build relationships based on trust and respect, and we stay proactive on your behalf.
- Adaptability
- We adapt to you, including how and when we communicate, and tailor our services to your needs wherever we can.

- acting in the best interests of clients
- avoiding conflicts of interest
- making sure clients give informed consent and understand their advice
- making sure clients clearly agree to the fees they pay
