National Disability Services (NDS), Australia’s peak body for non-government disability service organisations, has released the State of the Disability Sector Report 2018. The report shows that 73% of providers believe NDIS systems and processes need urgent improvement. The report also finds that the operating environment for providers is tough, and that the NDIS is failing to support people with disabilities to get jobs, however the majority of providers continue to support the NDIS and are “committed to getting it right”.
