‘Stand by Me’ rally calls for funding for NSW disability advocacy services

NSW disability advocacy organisations are preparing to rally in Sydney on 24 February to call for ongoing government funding for advocacy services. While services are currently funded by the NSW government until 2020, the government has so far refused to commit to funding beyond then. Advocacy organisations help people with a disability navigate issues with education, discrimination, health, justice, transport, employment, and access. To find out more about the rally and campaign, head to the Stand by Me website.
