Autism organisations call for change

Eleven organisations have joined together under the campaign Change 4 Autism, led by the Australian Autism Alliance, to advocate ahead of this year’s federal election. The campaign is highlighting four key priorities the organisations feel should be addressed to ensure that Australians with autism receive the support they need. These priorities include eliminating barriers to support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), developing a National Autism Strategy, establishing a dedicated disability focused Royal Commission, and driving high-impact and sustainable advocacy.
